Problem Solving for the Automotive Industry (8-D) 16 Hours

The Global 8-D process will be reviewed, including the correlation to the 5-phase and 7-D process from Chrysler. Reviewing and developing plans for the elimination of recurrence of problems follows classroom training. The participants may provide a problem to work on so they have practice in an environment they are familiar with. Correlation between the "BIG 3" formats are stressed so participants can develop a plan for virtually any customer.

Target Audience: All personnel, including Engineers, Managers, or anyone wishing to gain a better understanding of the problem solving process as expected by GM, Ford and Chrysler.
